Don’t Miss Out on the Google Analytics Monthly Snapshot Report

Google has released a new report (still in beta testing) that you will want to take advantage of. It’s the Google Analytics Monthly Snapshot Report.

I just received my first Google Analytics Monthly Snapshot Report, and I really like it! The report shows last months performance on your website versus the previous month. It tells you the number of users, revenue and your ecommerce conversion rate (assuming you have ecommerce reporting turned on). The snapshot report also includes how you acquired users in the past month – organic search, direct, and other sessions. When you click the link to view your full report, it brings you to the Home page of your Google Analytics Dashboard where you will find even more details regarding your website.

I’ve used Google Analytics on all my websites for many years, and I check it often, but having this monthly recap report makes it even easier to monitor your statistics.

How to Sign Up For Google Analytics Monthly Snapshot Report:

  1. From your Google Analytics account, click the three dots, then choose User Settings

  2. Make sure the Performance Suggestions and Updates checkbox is ON
  3. Under the ALL heading, click to choose your Google Analytics Property to expand it
  4. Make sure the checkbox is ON
  5. Click SAVE CHANGES

I HIGHLY recommend signing up for this!
